May 16, 2012Features:
- New type of database connection has been added - HTTP tunnel. This is an alternative way of connecting to your database and it possesses the features both of direct and bridge connection.
Benefits:
- this type of connection is useful if you don?t have direct access to MySQL database.
- you don?t need to do POST \ GET operations each time to refresh data on store and in Store Manager
- The ability to perform export \ import of product options has been implemented.
Improvements:
- New automatic connection wizard has been released. Now you can use Simple or Advanced mode for configuration of settings. All you need for simple mode is just to fill in FTP settings. All the rest will be done by our Connection Wizard. If you are familiar with communication protocols you can use Advanced mode.
- The possibility to change statuses of Orders using Mass Combinations Changer has been implemented.
- The logic of navigation of tabs at Preferences window has been changed. Now the tabs are organized in tree structure for more convenient usage.
- The ability to display "inactive" status of categories has been added.
BugFixes:
- Previously in versions 5.x of CubeCart instead of country name the country ID was represented. Now, this issue was fixed and country names are shown correctly.
- Formerly, Additional options which allow to manage the products which are present in the database, but were not included in .csv file, were not available at the appropriate step of Import Wizard. Now those options are available for use.
- For CubeCart ver.5 the products could not be exported if the "condition" field was used for export. Now, the products are exported correctly.
- In the previous versions of the software if you removed two or more categories simultaneously then one more category placed below was deleted along with them. Now delete option works correctly and it removes only selected categories.
- In the process of product import using the option Modify Only, instead of being modified, the new products were created. Now this issues is fixed.
- After opening and closing the program a pop-up message will be shown offering to Get or Post data
